One of the principle goals of the 2012 trip is to continue building upon the information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure established in 2009. In that regard, UCC intends to provide a set of ten (12) new OLPC computers and help run educational clinics on the use of OLPC computer programs, including: Turtle Art, eToys, Scratch, Memorize and FotoToons. To enhance OLPC activites already taking place in northern Kenya, UCC intends to assist teachers already involved in ICT education and help develop a variety of activities and lab manuals that will help educate primary and secondary students on the use of OLPC applications.
